CORDUS was founded in 2008.
Since 2011, CORDUS has been part of the CORDENKA Group and has since proven its outstanding performance in a conceivably difficult market environment: the reinforcement of ultra-high-performance car tires.
CORDENKA’s more than 75 years of experience in this field met Thuringian entrepreneurial spirit, craftsmanship, and know-how in the production of soft and stiff cords for the reinforcement of precision V-belts and hoses.
Investments of more than 3 million euros and certification to IATF16949 and ISO50001 in recent years are essential components on the road to our success. And we are constantly developing further.

Strong cords
CORDUS manufactures and supplies impregnated single end cords with titers ranging from 1,200 to 64,000 dtex. Corduroys manufactured by us have breaking strengths of over 4,000 N.
Variety of materials
CORDUS supplies aramid, rayon, nylon 6, nylon 6.6, polyester and other single cords grades in diverse applications of rubber, polyurethane and silicone materials.
